Whilst everyone hopes their personal injury claim will run smoothly and quickly, things don’t always go to plan. Sometimes you feel your solicitor doesn’t keep you updated or moves your case forward in a timely manner. Sometimes this can be resolved by speaking to your solicitor and explaining how you feel and how you wish to move forward. There may be a very reasonable explanation. Unfortunately this doesn’t always work.
You can change solicitor during a personal injury claim, either before proceedings are issued or after they have been issued at Court. This can be before or after medical evidence has been obtained.
Your new solicitor can obtain your case file from your previous solicitor with your written permission. They will review your case and speak to you about next steps to progress your case to a favourable outcome.
